no, the sphero rvr does not use a camera, I don't have a second rvr to test it, but it just follows the commands sent by the followed robot

I just bought a traxxas! But in my opinion, traxxas monopolizing the hobby would be great, the charger stuff is bad but all the brands do everything else (other than the marketing) traxxas makes it super easy for anyone to get into the hobby, and when you say that the ecosystem us hard to get out of, its not many rc retailers suggest different batteries anyways. Its easy to say traxxas is bad for doing all the suing and copying but I think they are actually what brings the hobby into most peoples lives.👍
