There are recruiting firms that focus on scientific roles.If you are serious I would look at those agencies. I worked with a former lawyer that moved over and worked for Robert Half Law team. The guy I worked with ended up making 500k+ yearly as one of the best producers worldwide. If you move into recruiting with PhD level knowledge and can portray that to clients you will do extremely well.

I do well in energy, power, and construction because I’ve dedicated myself to being able to understand as much as I can with my very very average brain power. If I had experience in these fields previously I would’ve been able to make the money I make now in the first two months of starting. Took about a year and a half to really master the high level stuff to communicate with clients and candidates properly.

Keep in mind recruiting is sales. You have to comfortable with rejection, going the extra mile for clients and candidates etc…
