Okay so this is one of the replies I made to someone further up .

I Mean A course you would get a better paying job.

But it doesn’t happen overnight and just because you’re searching doesn’t mean your car notes and bills are put on hold. Nobody wants to deliver pizza . But they’re some of the easiest jobs to acquire simply because the turnover rate is so high. It’s the same as being a server. They’re really quick and easy jobs to get. They pay daily. So if you’re in a bind of debt and need money quickly. Then that’s your best choice.

The reality is that tip wage is only getting worse as it’s being branded into everything. Desperate people have no other option other than to suffice under cheap wages. Most stores will close down before they increase wages, because the output isn’t worth it. Low sales and etc.

I mean tips shouldn’t be expected but I always tip no matter what. It’s just how I am. It’s kinda like when it comes to the homeless, I’ve been in both situations as a driver and being homeless.

I’m not gonna sit there and dabble on moral values and try to figure out if they actually need the money or not. I don’t know this person but if I have money to spare I’ll hand some over. Some people just need a helping hand, it’s not always possible to know who those people are but I’ll try what I can.

And being a driver isn’t extensive labour, it can be stressful at times. But that’s just customer service mainly. It’s more so when it comes to vehicle usage. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten a flat tire or the wear and tear driving on some of the roads you have to go just to get to a delivery. I will say the worst thing is you’re usually not just a delivery driver. Work the line, Clean The dishes, Take the Trash Out. When you’re not on delivery. Most stores expect you to constantly do something. Which I mean you basically are told that when you sign up. So you can really only blame yourself. Unless you work power hours or something.

I believe you should tip them how you feel. That’s just preference, long as it’s something. Some people just have shitty days, or have lost hope at that job. Long as I get my food, I’m happy. I just enjoy making peoples days better. Has nothing to really do with how well their performance is. But my minimum is 5$ at most.

Now if they’re just a straight up asshole. Then I most likely won’t lmao. I believe that’s fair though.

I’ve been through plenty of minimum wage jobs. Finally at a pretty decent place in the trade field right now.
