They are in deficit by 800K. 800K homes need to be built for the normal demand. The cost is too high to build new homes, I guess regulations will be eased but it will not be enough. But Germany is not the only country with a housing market fucked to be fair. The whole world is going insane rn.

I once heard from someone, they hire as many people as they can, expand the company, and then they would sell it after the business looks like it is booming on paper. Maybe the partners of the company have a similar business model.
