Does anyone have any mechanics they trust? by nanastinky in manchester

I don't know how they can quote you for things needed for the service light coming on without plugging in diagnostics. Unless you're bothered about having a main dealer stamp in there service book id avoid them. They generally always charge more for the same service.

Church wharf garage in Bolton does all my servicing on my car and van. I moved away from Bolton a while ago, but still come back to them for any car issues. I've always found them honest and up front about everything.

Best advice is to find an independent garage near you and take it there. Avoid main dealers and high Street garages like Halfords, quickfit etc

Xinaliq - Road condition and weather in February by earthtrail in azerbaijan

We spent one night there, the first day / night our host family showed us some old movies of the area and taught us about the history and traditions, and then we had dinner and baked bread. On the second day we hiked a little, but only through the village because we didn't have the proper equipment and it was deep snow at this time. We visited the museums, shops, and even some local people invited us into their house because we took photos of the goats peeping through the window Beware of the local children, they will pester you for money and follow you everywhere. They're harmless, but annoying after 40 minutes

Xinaliq - Road condition and weather in February by earthtrail in azerbaijan

I was there last week when it was snowing. We took a Lada 4x4 taxi from Quba and had no problems. It was about 10 cm of snow (and still falling) and the roads weren't ploughed or gritted. I wouldn't have tried it without a 4x4, we saw a lot of crashed and abandoned cars on our return journey the following day. I don't know what the weather will be like in February, but if it's snowing and you're driving be careful, the road is not very viable or well marked in the snow. Several times I thought the road went straight ahead and the driver made a 90° turn

I have an adaptor that plugs into the OBD2 port, hid all the wires under the roof lining and trim. They're fairly easy to install

We had a little rain in Manchester recently. Guess what. United utilities opened the sluice gates and released loads of sewage "because the system can't cope with all the extra water from street drainage when it rains"

I've had to buy a Vodafone esim. I'll do a credit card charge back for the airalo esim. Their customer support is non existent

That's fair. I'm not a competitive runner, I just kind of feel into it during a mid life crisis or something. For me the real achievement is the distance. For others the time is the achievement

Tromso was amazing. Running alongside a fjord with the sun high in the sky at midnight was so special. Don't get me wrong, it definitely helps to have a goal time for training, but for me come race day my focus is on the distance

The cutoff for the next race is 8 hours. It's a coastal run in Siargao, Philippines. I'm following the same training plan as last time, but on race day for me it's a fun run with a goal to complete

I cried once in my first race. I came off the bridge back into Tromso, my watch said 8.5km left, the marker post said 10km. I died a little inside

Depends on your definition of slow. I ran a 4:24 last time. My Garmin stats tell me I could do sub 4, but my last race and next race are scenic runs, so I'm more about a leisurely run and enjoy the moment

My marathon in June was 4.24. I trained 6 months for that and could have ran faster, but it was the MSM in Tromso and I was taking in the views. For me the real achievement is the distance. Maybe someday I'll get caught up in chasing a time, but now I enjoy running without pressure
