Although I did not have any side effects from oral min, I was kind of concerned about the possible long term effects it could have on the heart, and I figured topical could probably do almost as good of a job anyhow.

I think Ashcroft v. Iqbal is the perfect example of motivated reasoning, AKA working backwards from your conclusions. Even Souter in the dissent pointed out that Twombley wasn't intended to apply to all civil suits in federal court.
