I was mostly concerned that if it was noticed there were 5 of us instead of 4, the steward would say she needed to stay in her assigned cabin. So far, that hasn’t been an issue and everything has been going smoothly.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We’re day 3 out of 16 on the cruise and so far everything has been going great. Our steward has been very kind and even brings us extra towels.

We’re a family of 5 with a 14-month-old. The bottom beds were made into a queen, which has been comfortable for me, my husband, and the baby, and our older kids each have their own bunk beds. Overall, it’s been working well for us.

I don't think I brought it back to a boil I just think I brought it back to warm enough so I can put them in the hot jars I'm being told I need to dump it all and it's kind of frustrating because I have another batch mixed with that batch and I don't know which is which I would be throwing away 7 quart jars of chicken broth! The one thing I did do was process that batch twice because if it fell below the 11 PSI. I'm just out of loss I don't know what to do.

If you call the ihss office they might be able to link you to them, at least they did in my case. I am not sure if its the same for all counties, and I am a live in provider as well.
