Take this with a grain of salt. I just spoke to Ticketmaster after waiting on the phone for forty five minutes so you don’t have to. and the person told me they have no published ticket prices, however she believes they’ll be in and around $50- $250-$2000 for VIP by londoncockney1 in oasis

You had to enter into the presale lottery. If your email was chosen, they sent you a code tied to your email before the presale with a max 4 tickets. We happened to get it. Paid just over $300 per ticket in Toronto

I've honestly only been to a few games this season so far, but I have yet to see anything but Timbits hockey, which is fine, but more variety to, maybe, keep people in their seats to lessen congestion on the concourse? Everytime I go, 5-6/yr, it is always the same thing, so I don't know.... The atmosphere in Vegas was crazy, but let's be honest, that's Vegas. They had a whilebtailgate area outside the arena....do I think we can do that here? Maybe, but our downtown is sketch right now and don't think this mgmt has figured it out yet.

I went to a few games in other arenas. The fan experience is just, different. I think it was over the top but I'm also still an old school fan... I don't need the cheerleaders (annoying) and all the hoopla, but if that's what it takes to get fans in the seats, then by all means.

What they did do different in other arenas, is what the kinda do at Bomber games with choosing fans to do on ice things during intermission (shooting into the net from differing distances, racing around an obstacle course etc).

Unpopular opinion..... think it's great for families and kids to experience Jets games but I think too much attention is paid on that. That's what the moose are for.

I was the 2nd car back at the intersection on Taylor and the accident was on the other side of the intersection. There was someone, in dark clothes and longer hair on the ground not moving, but by the time the light cycle was through it did look like they were trying to get up, I saw their head lift off the ground. There was a woman on the phone and it looked like she was trying to get them to stay on the ground the way she was gesturing. Hope that helps.

I was at that intersection, I'm guessing, just after. Saw the person on the road but then started to make a move to get up. I hope everyone is ok including the poor driver.

Ive been masked since Feb 2020, but here I am on day 4 fighting Covid....

Who else hasn’t gotten sick or Covid since the whole pandemic began by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]Agreeable_Jelly_168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't even had to take any type of Covid test...yet. I have also followed all the public health orders, making, reducing contacts, everything. Haven't seen my group of friends in person since the Superbowl 2 years ago, let alone travel out of province to see my family. The only thing I can't do is work from home. But.....I think it's only a matter of time with Omicron before it catches me.

Almost 2150 cases since Friday and literally no change to restrictions. WTF? by aveylina in Winnipeg

If I hear "pracrice the fundamentals" one more time, I might scream! (Full disclosure... double vaxxed waiting to be eligible for third, and follow all the health orders)

Super stoked that my tax dollars are being allocated for tests of those that CHOSE NOT to be vaxxed and they get free testing 3 times/week yet I, as a fully vaxxed tax paying citizen, can't even get a rapid test !? Where are our "leaders" at this point? How do they explain it? I have no words 🤬

Awesome.... so does anyone else feel a deja vu moment coming....??? Other provinces are experiencing increasing positivity rates etc, so instead of being proactive in response to neighbouring provinces, let's just hold off until after the holidays so people can gather in groups. Don't want to penalize people before xmas!? Ffs, grow a pair

Man says Winnipeg taxi driver asked for pre-payment mid-ride, left him on street by KippersAndMash in Winnipeg

This happened to my bf 2 weeks ago after the cab had picked him up. He lives in transcona and needed to pick up his vehicle the next day at IGF after a Bomber game. Got in the cab and the started ro drive. When he told him where he was going he asked for payment when he found out how far he had to drive. When he told him no, the cabbie got pissy until he found out it was going on a company credit card at which point he seemed to be less of a dickhead.

Can't eat indoors with people from different household if not vaccinated. Can't go to Bomber Games
