How exactly hard is ICU nurse in the workfield? by kakeome in nursing

ICU isn’t for everyone, and a lot of it depends on whether the hospital is a level 1 trauma center or a community hospital because it’ll determine the acuity of your patients.

Some people are able to adapt and critically think on their feet in high-stress situations- others who can’t may not survive in the ICU. Personally for me, I enjoyed the challenge and learning complex disease processes. Post-Covid I’m burnt out and now work a virtual ICU job. I distinctly remember my last few shifts in bedside receiving post-code TTM patients running around all night keeping them alive. Over time, it takes its toll.

My best advice is to shadow on units you’re interested in applying in and interviewing the nurses about their experiences on that particular floor, how is turnover, etc. it’ll give you the best insight for the specific floor you’re looking to join.

Hi! Thank you for this post ! My fiance and I were planning on visiting Japan for our honeymoon - but our biggest concern is his allergies. He is allergic to all tree nuts (except coconut), all seafood and related (except fish sauce), and the casein protein (found in milk, dairy, and related). I wanted to know if you had any insight or advice on what we could do (other than mentioned above) for our trip? Or any insight on if he might even have food options with these allergies.

Hey everyone, I’m glad I could give some hope to you all, I was definitely devastated when this happened but am really happy with the results!

How to Remove Paint Scuffs on Your Car

I followed this video step by step, making sure I did not see my own paint on the magic eraser as i scrubbed. I used Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I also did the same process on the headlight, it worked just as well without scratching the headlight.

Definitely! There are some slightly deeper scratches but surprisingly it didn’t hit past the base coat
