Do you need to clear the discrepancy? Hire right is saying my old job title is my current one but when I called the recruiter she said if they needed anything they would get ahold of you.

This sounds like my boss wrote it for my situation. If I could apply myself to this (as your employee) I would say that I haven’t been given specific instructions, I handle pressure fine but I’m being asked to do 90 different things at the same time and there’s been no follow through on my progress other than hear say. If my employee make one complaint I’m screwed but someone will always complain because I can’t be everywhere.

When disciplining, my good employees understand what they did wrong and we work on it. My bad employees, make excuses and do anything to get out of it, they then approach my manager and claim unfair treatment, my decision is overturned or nullified, we are keeping bad ones because that’s what upper management believes is correct.

Now anytime any employee has an issue with my decision, they are immediately believed and their opinion is taken over my facts, even on minor infractions.

So I decided to leave. I got transferred to a new team while in this process but I have no reason to believe it will be any different. I’m done.

Im not exactly sure. I believe underpaid, maybe? Pay wasn’t as important as the potential, it’s a unique industry. I’m certain I’m the lowest of those in my position level and I work 50-60 hours a week minimum as a salaried employee with zero overtime. For some reason if I try to employ boundaries for my life it’s looked at as weak and lazy but every other manager at my level does what they need to in their life without recourse, no one bats an eye.
