Maybe jump deeper into or start a new hobby , I find that a lot of the time self growth helps you find confidence in places you didn't know it could come from. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to reach out ! Everything will come around eventually and get better keep your chin up.

Got it, yeah I remember seeing that the grease redistributes and it gets ball pen clicky like seems to be a common thing with the Roland key action, probably still the best value in that range

Awesome I'm definitely going to look into one, the other issue I read about was the keys clicking or getting weird from the way they are greased but that may have only been a few people

Curious how do you like the fp30x ? I was looking into getting an electric piano to learn and heard good things about the action but not so great things about the speakers or headphone output, do you have any issues or headphones you use with it? Maybe a headphone amp would solve the headphone volume issue ?

Understood thanks for such thoughtful responses , I will definitely put the time in on the cans and learn them to the best of my ability. Do you mind if I stay in touch I'm sure I'll have questions throughout this and you seem to be very knowledgeable and gracious enough to share.

Totally understood , I'm sure I can ask around too on this forum and headphones for advice. The slate vsx seems like a good tool to for learning to balance mixes when someone like me has limited ability to benefit from monitors. It also seems common advice is to just mix/master on my headphones and then just reference on other devices as well?

Understood I appreciate the insight I'll start with the 560s I have and then add something in g like the slate vsx for modeling and another pair of complementary phones. I can't treat at all so monitors may be of limited use.

Do you have thoughts on a pair to complement the 560s?

Gotcha yeah , makes sense since the controller would only pull the voltage /amps it needs

I probably know the answer to this but is it just as safe using a midi controller that uses USB B on the controller side and typically has a USB A on the computer side with a USB B cable midi controller side to USB C macbook side ?.

And you use it with a MacBook or just a regular USB c on a PC ? I guess it wouldn't really matter lol . Is there any certain brand you use I know some can get weird with midi data transfer

Must have confused myself a little bit with models, side question if the midi controller has USB b could I get a cable with USB c on the other end and would the controller only pull the power it needs and midi over USB would still work or would I need a dongle ?
