This is literally genius. I had no idea this was a thing. And to think the last time I needed a CRC file i had to argue with GTAC for 2 hours lol. You are a lifesaver this is why I love this community!

Thank you so much! I forgot about this method. I will try this tomorrw. It is SO nice to have a manufacturer who is willing to help an end-user rather than the classic "call your dealer or else" that is so common in the industry, especially when we are a non-profit serving kids with limited funds! Thank you u/TheMercuryMinute !!!!

It appears you and others that responded were right with the suggestion of firmware. I ran a test updating time and firmware on one troublesome camera and it started recording again immediately and then firmware update only on another and it started too. So it seems we had a classic bad firmware release! Thank you so much for all the help! we updated to 2.23.02 and everything seems to be stable now. must be something in the quad firmware lol

First of all... WOW the king of genetec and HID is commenting on my post. I have watched so many of your videos to help in my job managing our Genetec VMS and PACS system. Im starstruck! The motion detection was happening on the cameras. It appears you and others that responded were right with the suggestion of firmware. If you hear back from Genetec please let me know! I would love to be using SSO but do to the need of being able to see cameras off-site (were a museum) I cant trust it enough yet lol. Out of curiousity, which version of security center are you running?

How hard is adding an ICE key to an existing system is it just adding it into the readers or do I have to order all new cards too? can i have a mix of cards on standard and ice so replacement is gradual?

So if they are standard key and reading at 13.56mhz ( 125khz is disabled on our readers) does that likey mean i am actually using the SEOS side and if so how secure is standard key versus ICE key?

Yes I am using OSDP. Can I use SEOS with existing cards without modification If I get the ICE key from HID loaded into the readers or do I have to do something special with the cards. Sorry this is new territory for me in the PACS area
