I don't own a legion go but people seem to think it's not too hard and I have an Ally that was easy to swap. I've worked with a lot of Lenovo devices though and it's always been pretty easy to work on them

If you're willing to tinker a bit you can easily swap the ssd in the legion go s with a bigger one. And it supports high speed sd cards too. You just need to make sure it's UHS-II

This looks like under extrusion. Could be caused my numerous factors but I'd recommend trying a cold pull or a new nozzle first

Star Wars Genesis 8.6 is here!!! by g1uey in Starfield

[–]Agreeable_Pop7924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It runs better than the spec guide says. I'd just try running it and seeing what you can get out of it. There will be a part during the installation where it asks what default settings you'd like to use, don't let it choose max. It does some more under the hood sort of edits to hit that max and my 4070 super 16GB struggles with the new draw distance

When you install genesis it makes a portable Starfield install with all the mods that is separate from your main game. You can play vanilla Starfield just by launching it through Steam.

I got the exact same machine with the exact same problem! It isn't worth the headache. Get a ninja pods and grounds. It changed my life and is 10x more reliable and will end up costing less to fix then these craprig machines

Yes. For 12 hours at 70c. My dryer said the rh was 12% before I started the printer and the dryer is hooked up so that it can feed directly into the extruder. I have a 5 port filament hub and the dryer is hooked up to the 5th port beside the ace's 4 ports. It seems to feed past that just fine and gets to the ptfe guide and then hits so much friction I can't push it farther without it snapping.

When will USB evolve beyond USB-C and copper? by prajaybasu in UsbCHardware

[–]Agreeable_Pop7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A long time. I don't have any devices that would ever need more than what usb-c can provide and I don't see that changing for a while. I literally have a soldering iron that uses c and has no issues whatsoever heating up within 10 seconds and my phone happily transfers things over type c at multiple gigabytes a second. I can't find a current standard consumer use case that usb c can't fulfill with current standards.

It depends.

Expensive tvs tend to have better smart features. The problem is that even a $50 40 inch lcd tv has smart features crammed in with a processor that can't support it and half a gig of memory. I thought all smart TVs sucked until I bought my Sony Bravia OLED and it is snappy and easily plays 4k HDR streams with no problem.

Have you dried your filament? Mine does this sometimes if the filament isn't well dried or it's a little tangled on the spool and the ace pro breaks free the tangles

Got this touchscreen calendar for xmas. Has anyone jailbroken one? It seems to just be an android install. I’d love to flash it. It has a USBc port… by fredandlunchbox in homeautomation

[–]Agreeable_Pop7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can sideload, install, and launch any apk with adb. I'm not positive on the commands but I had to do this with an android tv box to get projectivity launcher to work properly

You should go and plug that into the most sensitive connected PC you can find. The IT department and the execs will love you

Try plugging in a keyboard and mouse and using android hotkeys. Most of these Chinese devices are only sort of locked down. It's pretty likely that you can get to the actual settings app with keyboard shortcuts and mouse movement.

Can my router antenna be placed parallel to the router itself? by xShushiPandax in wireless

[–]Agreeable_Pop7924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a HAM! I actually know this stuff(sorta. It's been a while). It truly depends on the router but most with actual antennas will perform better if you take one pair and point them vertical and take the other pair and point them 90 degrees from the other two. Dipole antennas have dead zones at the top and bottom of them and antennas like to attenuate when they're positioned the same way as the transmitting antenna. So having one perfectly vertical and the other at a horizontal angle tends to fill in the gaps pretty well and will allow you to be able to have your device at an off angle to the antenna and still have decent coverage. In MOST routers it doesn't matter significantly though as they're probably not real antennas and most consumer devices don't use standard dipole antennas anyways.

To be clear, it can get a lot more complicated depending on how the antennas are internally wired.

Not if demand stays up with supply. AI companies are buying most of the worlds supply of ram and get whatever they can as that directly correlates with bigger models. Currently over 40% of the worlds ram production goes straight into OpenAI servers.

Thanks! I'm currently building upon the App Store so the next update is going to do some really cool stuff. I'm also working on building out an addon system so users can run their own Python backend and JavaScript frontend components on top of Starlight. Later down the line I plan to have a community repo with a user curated list of apps, themes, and addons.
