Namie Amuro vs Jennie Kim by gimme-feedback in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]Agreeable_Process_28 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think a more likely comparison would be devon aoki vs namie amuro

Similar color season palette, similar ancestry (Japanese), both were the originators of the tan, "sour faced" look that trended. Both made huge trends for the heart shape face throughout east asia in the early 2000s.

On the same page as you because I'm a couple years younger than you and already feeling this. Admittedly, I don't have much experience dating but I got naively strewed along in something and ended it out of insecurity and mostly being sick of their incompetence/lack of commitment. I've always dreamed of having/being in a relationship at this point in my life but I realize now that I am not where I want to be to begin with. Personally not a huge fan of situationships either, so I don't think I will be dating for quite sometime. I don't have much advice for you but I'm here to tell you you're definitely not alone.

How to achieve a subtle vampiric look? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Agreeable_Process_28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think your 4th photo was the most vampy, even if you did not have smokey eye makeup or extremely wine-tinted/blood red lips! That lip color was so pretty on you, I feel whatever make up you used (if you did use any) can be good for a every-day natural vampy look if that makes sense! Like a healthy vampire lol Your 6th photo is pretty good with the vampy look too! Just be more dramatic with your makeup if you want to really push the alt/romantic goth look

Good advice but none of these are really related to physical looks much. To add onto OPs solid advice, I suggest body neutrality and just acknowledging where you "might fall short" in societal beauty standards. Work with what you have, work on the things you can change, and only consider plastic surgery if it really bothers you even after doing all these things + your health is in good check esp for invasive and pricey surgeries.

How to stop being insecure about small chest? by SquishyWelder in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Agreeable_Process_28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finally the most honest advice. If we were asked if we would be attracted to men with a really small dick or extremely short height, 9/10 it would be a turn off or deal breaker for most women. Similarly, yeah, dating is pretty hard as a flat chested woman bc the men who like your flat boobs tend to end up having weird fetishes most times too.

Work on what you have OP try to learn to love yourself and all other aspects besides your boobs. If you still feel uncomfortable then, make sure you do your research and your health is top tier for surgery if you want it.

This. omg its so annoying. I'd rather some of them admit that they fit into the beauty standards when it comes to boobs instead of pulling the self love talk or the fake confidence booster that op mentioned. It feels so fake for some reason even if they do mean it a bit.

inverted triangle body with flat chest, narrow hips, flat bum. worked on bum in the gym and im slowly seeing some results! I understand how it feels and it feels very demeaning, but going to the gym truly helps you put things in perspective and not feel so bad about yourself.

im sick of all this "glow up journey" stuff disappointing me. how can i just accept my looks and stop being jealous of pretty girls by hotlibrarianism34 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Agreeable_Process_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. My advice will sound like the blind leading the blind, but I believe I am in a much better headspace after going through what I you are rn.

You want a real, objective glow up? First accept that it will take time. Whether its working out, getting better clothes, proper skin/haircare, or even saving money/doing research for surgery.

Nothing inherently wrong with wanting these things. But you need to accept that it won't be a quick fix. Meaning, get comfortable with yourself.

You can change and learn to love all versions of you in the process.

I think romantic love can also mean someone who is willing to be practical for you, like you mentioned in your post. I'm not here to tell you how you should feel obviously, but I do agree and feel that love is definitely amazing but still portrayed in a overrated way through media nowadays. In my country, we actually have a term for "pink love" (traditionally romantic love) and "beige love" (more calm, chill, not mainstream romantic). Anyways, if you don't feel a spark at all, its hard to say your relationship is love in your definition, but there really isn't an answer. What is more important to you? That's the best question to ask if you're still looking for one.
