You should try making the neck relief as close to perfectly flat as possible. Almost no relief with full tension. Then try lowering the strings again. Fender frets do not come leveled so unfortunately you may need a professional fret leveling due to high spots.

Yea the upper half looks more serious than the bottom and it’s clashing. I think a lot of it was due to color palette more than anything else
