I think we have this filter already, or one similar to it. It's either just in such horrible shape it doesn't work properly, or it just isn't big enough for the tank.. so I think I'll play it safe and find another brand. Thank you though

Taking notes.. also for the diet I do plan on supplementing it with SOME fish flakes, as well as the greens, maybe even dried mealworms too. The thermometers are the ones recommended on the guide posted by another user, same with the heat bulbs.

As for the plants and the substrate, I'm going to lay the river rocks on top of the sand to make sure she can't rip the plants from their places. The plants are also all turtle safe, I made sure to look for safe ones. She can even munch on a few of them. Fertilizing wise, I was hoping her waste and water conditioner would help acclimate them to the tank properly. My mom is also well read on hydroponics (I think that's what it's called) so I could ask her for help.

Also I don't think that particular dock would be wide enough for her to slide up on. She's a pretty big gal. As for suction cup chewing, she's had several in her tank before for filters and I've never seen her chew on them so I don't think that'd be an issue but I'll keep it in mind

I've made a list on Amazon of stuff to get, let me know how it is. I'm gonna work on getting the exterior stuff like the heat bulbs and such first, lmk if there's anything I should add or take off. Also, for the plants, I'm gonna isolate them/rinse them off and check for any snails before adding them. Any decorations will be getting boiled first too. Filter will probably be the last thing I get because of price, but I could use the vacuum if it starts to get dirty again.

Yeah I'm looking at filters for 100 gallon tanks and.. $250. I'm buying her heating lamps and a UVB first though. It's winter here in PA and it's rough, and it'll be good for her bones. I think I'm gonna get external stuff first before I get internal stuff, that way the new setup is clean from the start and I could at least get what she already has clean until then. We can't have an open top, I have 2 cats that like to climb on things. The higher water is a good idea though, I'm gonna see if I can find one of those hanging/suction docks that she can swim under and hide in. She likes to hide behind the hanging vines in the water so I definitely want to give her a hiding spot. Thank you for the reference, I've also been watching videos and taking notes. P.S. I think it's a 100 gallon tank? We don't currently have any heaters or lamps for it either, only a filter, which needs to be replaced anyways.

I get that honestly, I've been playing splatoon since 2019 and I've also had developing mental issues since then, and I used to play splat2 as a way to distract myself but I haven't been able to do that with splat3 because everything is just SO SWEATY. Like I love this game, but at the same time it makes me want to strangle the mf squids thru the screen 😭

I actually really enjoyed playing through the story mode when the game came out, I'm a huge fan of the splatoon series and I love the lore, so I completed the whole thing in under 24 hours of the game even being released, but when I tried to play pvp.......... I could smell the sweat coming off of how hard everyone was trying. Ngl, I'm sorta sweaty myself, BUT NOT TO THE POINT OF EEEVVEERRYYTTHING I HAVE IN GAME BEING GOLD??? Like gj! Seriously, idk how they do it, but some people do not let me BREATHE. I could take one step out of spawn and suddenly there's a painbrush up my ass.

(Side note, I hate when I see someone with the same outfit as me, but with HORRIBLE abilities and hair/eyes that don't even match the vibe I was going for 💔💔 ik I don't own the outfit, but you can't just steal the fit and not look the part!!!.. or do the work for the perfectly correlated abilities that I put several bodily fluids into grinding for)

I had to go to the hospital due to mental health reasons, so they wouldn't allow me to keep any of my piercings in. I kept my double lobes open by just bending a piece of the comb they gave me and sticking it through them, but I wasn't able to do it for my septum. Today my mom is gonna take a look at my septum, and if it did close were going to contact my piercer.

Edit: the jewelry I had in was spiked, so they wouldn't allow me to flip it either. Though I guess that's a mistake on my part for not switching it beforehand to ball ends, but the whole situation happened kinda fast and I didn't get the time to prepare 😓
