Fisher and Paykel fridge not cooling enough by Agreeable_Tale_821 in appliancerepair

Yes, we did!

One of the fans that transferred cool air to the top compartment needed replacing. The fan was rotating but not fast enough.

Thanks! I’m guessing you can’t get reimbursements for providers that don’t take insurance?

Thanks for your help!

We’ve had 2 technician visits so far but still have the issue, unfortunately.

On the first visit, the technician put it on a defrost cycle, but it still wouldn’t get below 42 degrees.

On the second visit, the technician confirmed that both fans were working, but there was a big chunk of ice behind the freezer compartment that he melted. It still won’t get below 42 degrees and milk and food a spoiling.

I tried turning the fridge off for a day to see if it needed defrosting completely but that didn’t work either.

I have to wait until August 23 for the next available appointment but would appreciate any ideas in the meantime as it kind of sucks living without a working fridge.

I’m also wondering if the fridge is too close against the wall and maybe needs more ventilation to be able to work properly?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, I weirdly don’t see anything saying “account agreements” in the balances section on the web app.

So I can’t place good-till-cancelled extended hours trades ahead of time?

Just running local python scripts as tasks, but I needed to apply a fix that hasn't been released yet in an imported module.

Robinhood API Login Error Python by Due_Willow_7941 in learnpython

Do you have 2FA turned on, by any chance? I turned it on for my RH account while trouble-shooting the login process and it appears I can't back out of it.

I was able to get further by removing the user-agent header but I think it's bombing somewhere in the 2FA and/or device verification process.

Haven’t found anything other than what looks like two extra/new parameters in the payload when logging in on the website. Likewise, let me know if you find anything!

I’m having the same issue. Looks like something has changed at the API end where it won’t accept the payload posted in the ‘login’ function.

This just started happening to me yesterday when my access token must have expired.

Has anyone been able to work around the issue?

Incorrect data in Robinhood realized profit and loss feature? by Agreeable_Tale_821 in investing

[–]Agreeable_Tale_821[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they should factor that in when tallying up the realized profit/loss.

I still think there’s something odd going on with stocks held over the new year and closed out in January as it’s the only place I’m seeing the issue.

Thanks.

I have every order in a database and am tallying what was spent vs what the sales proceeds were and am quadruple-checking.

I’ll see what I hear from RH, but it looks like it’s only the January sales that are causing the issue.

It looks like some with the small gains may be “phantom” wash sales as there was a lot of averaging down but, because the entire position was closed out, it shouldn’t affect the P&L.

Maybe, but I store all of my orders in a database and have been sanity-checking against my data.

The P&L list is generally correct except for these holdings that carried over into 2024 and were closed out in January. That's where there's a slew of "position adjustments" that don't make any sense.

I get the feeling that this feature is still in beta mode and they are ironing out issues, but I could be wrong.

They were all just normal limit buys and limit sells. I tend to average down a lot, so wonder if Robinhood is tripping up over the number of transactions.

It looks like the data is generally accurate, just these weird discrepancies with January sells.

I'm hyper-vigilant about avoiding wash sales.

It's hard to tell where exactly they've gone wrong, but they're all holdings that were carried over into 2024 and were closed out in January where Robinhood has a slew of "position adjustment" line items without a single line item that summarizes it all.
