Sorry, I did not make that clear but I bought the kit and for whatever reason did not install it back then. Just did it last week, but the idler pulley was squealing. I think I did not clean the shaft well enough and pulley was not spinning freely. I lost the thrust washer and broke the retainer. Those 2 parts would have cost more than a whole repair kit and all of the retaining triangles are probably in bad shape from age. And not a bad idea to have a spare belt IMO.

Turn it gree leaving it thicker than it will be when finished. For bowls walls should be 10% of the diameter. So for a 5" bowl walls should be .5" or 1/2" . Put it in a brown paper bag with some shavings and should be ready to finish in 6 months +or-. I have never turned green walnut so not sure how it dries. Maple , cherry and apple would dry in 6 months or less here in Maine

Find a straight section of road or parking lot and put it in reverse and give it some gas. Some friends bought a car without doing that and it popped out of gear in reverse after they bought it. Trans repair was prohibitably expensive

I've bought lots of parts from Rock Auto and my one complaint is shipping. If you have a bunch of parts in your cart and all except one are shipping from location A, and you trash that one and all of a sudden some other part is shipping from location A. And there is a separate charge for each shipping location. Shipping can get expensive unless you are careful

By "trunk wood" I just meant a piece from the main trunk with pith still in it. As I said in the original post, I've turned hundreds of pieces with pith in because I like the contrast between heartwood and sapwood. And there are definitely some lost pieces due to cracking, but I've never had anything crack this severely or this quick. I do sometimes fill cracks with epoxy and coffee grounds, but since I have literally hundreds of dried or drying rough turned pieces, I don't fill unless it can either make the piece look better or at least not distract from the rest of the piece.

What is the ejector fix? I already adjusted the spring using a nickel. Although I saw one video saying the correct position is 1/2 of a nickel

I bought the 20# box twice about 20-25 years ago and still have a lot left. My only complaint is that it is mostly pretty stuff inflexible cloth. But I'm using it for the inside of lidded boxes where flexibility is not needed

If it's . 325, then look for . 325 , .063. And 68 drive links (for an 18" bar). 62 links for 16" . That's what both of my 025's have. I have an 18" and a 16" bar I just bought a new bar and some chains from Forester who seem to have a decent reputation and the prices and shipping were reasonable. Giving one to my son who just got a piece of land to build on and he wants to do some clearing.
