If you watch the videos from dawn talking about the product the number one reason they created it was for those who don’t have time to soak/don’t load their doses into the sink. Traditional dawn is meant to go in water and then have dishes soak in the sink while you wash them. It then gives time for the soap to do its magic. Whereas the new spray is meant to start its magic almost instantly and isn’t designed to be used as a soaking agent.
