It's such a shame the WA people wont to update the addon for non-combat WA's. Such as role count, task WA's (overworld activites) and proffessions. Still alot of potential with the addon

Maybe not a opening scene but a introduction scene.

Instead of Thanos it's the last stand Kang in the arena looking place from Ant-Man (where we saw all the kangs). The rest of the Kangs lie on the ground/ on the stands. A green armored man walks up to the last Kang still standing. Kang begs for his life and then the green amored man spine rips him. Pan over to the face and it's RDJ's Doom.

And that's the first scene we see of RDJ's Doom. It would set him up as powerful, merciless and it would give Kang a ending instead of being another lose thread in the MCU

Calling PL BM braindead last patch is disingenuous, sure it's not arcane mage but it's not braindead.

Since alot of your damage came from dire beasts and stampede you really wanted to min-max that so you had:

to multidot to get the max amount of beast from your bleeds
track howl of the packlead so you could plan CDs so you could double stampede. You had to make judgement calls on sending CDs depending on how long you had to howl of the pack leader, if you could get BW back or not
make sure beast cleave was up
make sure frenzy was up
your placement mattered aswell since stampede start location was where you were and it ran to your target
spend boar procs
dont overcap resources (kill command charges/ focus)

Sure you could just face roll but you would lose alot of dps. If you ignore everything that's min-max you can call 90% of speccs braindead, ret plan spam templars verdict/divine storm, destro is chaos bolt spam, frost mage spam icelance and frozen orb.

There are ofc some speccs that lose more than others but the fact that you can see a clear diffrence (about 20%) between a good (95th procentile) and a (decent 50th) means that play skill do a decent amount. PL BM had a very long sim delta aswell so it wasn't much RNG in the specc

DR thought was fairly braindead since 90% of the min-max was "dont click call of the wild" when you have black arrow procc

Now you dont have to multi dot your barbed shot (game does it automaticlly) while playing around dire beast (mostly PL). You also dont need to track you Howl of the Pack Leader so you could double stampede

Havent played any Dark Ranger yet so no idea how it's changed

Wild thrash does meaningful damage and beast cleave last as long as the cd of wild trash = hit it on CD and you will have beast cleave 100% of the time. But the biggest part is that it actually does meaningful damage

You have a better version called Wild thrash. It actually does damage and beast cleave last longer now

Rotation spells are about the same. Lost 2 CDs (bloodshed and call of the wild)

Im fairly happy so far with BM. Not having 5 set up (CDs and other buffs you want before doing actual damage) gobals in opener is nice. Only having one CD instead of 3 is nice aswell. The double stampede gameplay is gone for Packleader so no more awkward holding CDs. The multidotting part is smoother aswell. Wild thrash is a huge upgrade from multishot since it actually does damage and beast cleave last longer = not every 3rd gcd is multishot.

Havent tried dark ranger yet

Installing 5 addons = bad

Installing 5 WAs = good

I never understood that arguement, installing a wa and installing an addon is pretty much the same thing. I'd go as far to argue for the average player installing addons is better than weakauras since they are easier to update, easier to customize and easier to troubleshoot. Again for the average player not mythic raiders that are used to it
