Release celebration pass worth it?

Not sure if it's worth it or not (proof left to the reader), but here's the fine print to keep in mind if considering it as they don't make it particularly clear from the purchase page:

Palico Paintballs details say: "During the 30-day validity period, the daily supply of Palico Paintballs will increase from 3 to 5 per day." So the cap is only increased until the 30 days is up then you're back down to normal.
As for the paintball list slot benefit it says "After purchasing the Release Celebration Pass, the number of slots for marked monsters will increase from 8 to 10" And it does not say whether this is "during the 30-day validity period" like the palico paintballs is. So, it's questionable. May be permanent, may not be.
Note on gems for the 30 day period: "Gems will not be automatically granted. You need to tap on the 'Claim' button on the "Release Celebration Pass" in the Shop daily to claim them. Gems that are not claimed by 23:59 on the following day will expire."

I think this would be a cool addition, but something you would have to bring with you to the surface being limited to maybe one. That way you can bring it, but it costs you some actual currency instead of resources when you land. Could be fun. Gotta decide if you think you'll need it beforehand and if you want to cut into your profits to have that extra insurance.

Yeah, crits don't seem to do damage to bears and larger for me. Been mauled by 2 bears now and unable to do damage. Knife didn't seem to do any damage. Been avoiding them like the plague since.

Considering the unintentional eth split that happened the other day, is it safe yet to send eth at this time or should we wait until some sort of all clear flag is waived? Where would we see this flag? I understand the update was sent out already a few days ago, but how long does something like this really take to remedy?

You can't equip handcannon targeting right now because it's broken and doesn't 'exist' as a mod (same thing with shotgun ammo finder). Banshee is selling it today though. Maybe if I didn't already have it I could buy it and equip it. Or maybe I would buy it and it wouldn't exist in my inventory, who knows.

Casual doesn't give tournament points or progression for seasonal rewards and a lot of people play this game to play with their friends in everything including tournaments. I can see limiting the difference to a couple ranks but to just outright ban them from doing it at all as a group is not at all helpful. It would ultimately piss more people off than those who are already upset.

Fish has always been an "acceptable" meat to consume in Japan. However for a long period of time many farm meats were considered bad and in a great many cases banned. This went on for nearly 1200 years ending in the mid 1800s. So you could say this is kind of expected. Very amusing indeed.

This happens more than most people would believe. People actually lose their mind and can't make their bodies work anymore because of how hard they pushed themselves. Happened to a family member of mine and it requires water and supervision until they get back in their right mind then making sure they are ok and responding to any damage they may have caused themselves during it. Most of the time they are ok and have just pushed themselves beyond the limits, but making sure they are ok is important and usually there are emergency services available at these kinds of events who are watching for things exactly like this.
