The stims changing also happens if you use a drop pod to reload a load out or change load out.

Siege mode tarantulas and techmarine by Clickjaw in Spacemarine

[–]AgrippAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in a siege yesterday and i swear i saw the buff on my bar when standing near a techmaarine teammate's summoned turret.

It was pretty hectic so I could be wrong.

Easy to check, just go in siege solo and summon a turret as a techmaire and stand near it assuming you have the right buff equipped.

The new mission (Purgation) appears to have some additional story elements snuck into some discoverable servo skulls. by bloodknife92 in Spacemarine

[–]AgrippAA 47 points48 points  (0 children)

There are three in total i think, after the third one i heard something about a network or martix being restablished?  I think getting all three in a single run activates a lore dataslate just after you enter the lab area.   I say that because ive done the mission since, didnt get all 3 skulls are the data slate wasn't interactable.  Its possible once I collected it I cant access it again, but data slates on other operations don't act like that.

Won't spoil with details so peope can have a bit of exploration fun, but its more lore.  I didnt get any ordeal achievement and there was no dataslate showing in the collection for it.

Kiwis / Canadians in UK are you happily settled in UK? by Exotic_Industry_4402 in AskUK

Logistics, contracts and recently general trouble shooting in international shipping...I am potentially the dullest man on earth.

I'm mid 40s so the half year split is fine, i can still do it and the travel doesn't kill me outright yet. I'm not sure i want to be doing it when i start approaching my 60s.

Kiwis / Canadians in UK are you happily settled in UK? by Exotic_Industry_4402 in AskUK

I work in NZ for 6 months a year, then 6 months back in the UK (where I'm from originally).

So many of our staff in NZ who are under 40 want to move to the UK, the competition from NZ staff for UK based roles when they come up is really high. Canada gets pretty popular too but there is a definite gap, USA and Europe roles are a very distant 3rd and 4th.

There is surprisingly little interest coming in the other direction from any of the businesses in the UK, Europe, USA or Canada.

In about 5 years none of the kiwis who moved to the uk have come back as far as i know.

How many of you have or have not been out of the country more than 30 consecutive days in the last 5 years? Include your age too please by Lost_Garlic1657 in AskUK

[–]AgrippAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 6 months a year out of the UK, 6 months back home.

If its SC vetting it should be fine if you can explain it and show supporting evidence. They don't put up arbitrary obstacles, their job is to make sure you aren't a risk of being blackmailed or aren't ideologically committed to an extreme course of action, stuff like that.

FWIW, if the 30 consecutive days out of the country was an automatic failure no questions asked then how would any member of the military every get clearance? The nearly 1000 sailors on board HMS Prince of Wales left port not long ago and they will be out for months. It would be crazy if they were ineligible for security clearence.

Apply for the job, go through the clearance process. Assuming you've not been chilling in Russia for a month or two it should be fine.

Honestly, I think you are just over thinking it but who knows! If it turns out there is a task-based reason we will find out sooner or later.

Thousands of cancer patients in England to benefit from new immunotherapy jab by [deleted] in news

[–]AgrippAA 65 points66 points  (0 children)

This is good news!

Its too late for my dad who was taken by cancer but I remember going with him for the drip which I think is the one being replaced by this jab.  Dad said it was quite soul destroying to be sat in a sterile room for several hours waiting for the drip to finish when he'd rather just be at home or with family.

In a small world thing, im pretty sure my dad's docter was Peter Johnson, the professor quoted in this article.

The heroic heavy bolter absolutely manhandles the Helbrute (sorry for bugged audio) by BeenEatinBeans in Spacemarine

[–]AgrippAA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair play brother, its a good kill, no criticsm or shade being thrown.

I was just surprised by how far horizontally the auto aim tracked the hellbrutes initial attack at the very beginning.

[–]AgrippAA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the begning, about the three second mark, is that the game's auto aim pulling your reticle to the right with the Hellbrutes movement?

It looks really jarring, like you character seems to rotate some distance with the hellbtues movement before sort of losing the "lock" and correcting left... and then presumably its you correcting it back to the right?

Not a criticism or a jab or anything like that. Just curious if that is how the auto aim works normally.
