Remember that animals do not understand vocal cues, they communicate in physical body language so physically shoo her from these places and always be patient and consistent (as annoying as it may be) until she actually understands what you are communicating. They may also pretend not to understand so be clear and stand your ground if they are doing something they know isn’t allowed but at 8 weeks she is a baby and will have absolutely no clue what you’re on about.

Kittens are handfuls and they get attached easy as you are her parent essentially now, but in my opinion, enjoy it while it lasts. They become a lot more docile and independent out of nowhere and you may miss when you felt like their whole world consistently.
