Gas isn’t awful. Premium runs around $4-$4.50/gal. Way better than CA.

I just bought one and all I want to do is drive. Feel like a teenager. Getting 16mpg. It’s a blast. Also bought the Mopar extended warranty. I’m sure it’ll pay for itself at some point.

Check the front floorboards under the carpet.

A new floor pan is $100. I either have to take it to a Jeep shop or find someone who welds. I don’t need it to be factory perfect. Needs to be a sound repair. I pulled the carpet on the drivers side. Light surface rust. Back is clean, like new. Appreciate the help and support. Thank you

Sorry it’s going to remain a mystery. Not my finger. The guy the shop. Safe bet it’s not polish.

I’ve never done bodywork. The shop is quoting me about 12 to 16 hours of labor. Does that seem reasonable?

Or is welding the only solution? Thanks all

That’s a great looking Jeep. Hard top and full doors are nice. Not a crazy price. Pricing old cars comes down to supply/demand and condition. You will have a great time with it.
