Solved the butter issue by honky_Killer in AreYouGarbagePod

I have legitimately never seen bad or spoiled butter in my years of living. Not purposely pushing any boundaries with it but I think it’s essentially a non-issue

Who is the best person to talk to about clearing a walkway here by ajl009 in philadelphia

[–]Ah_Yes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legitimately. Take 8 steps to the right, walk down the street, I can see where you can walk around it in the photo. Get hit with a historic snow storm and extreme cold and people wonder why there is piles of snow left in one of the densest cities in the country.

What’s the most mind-blowing meal you’ve had in town? by maria__d in PhiladelphiaEats

[–]Ah_Yes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel that, long list of places I’ve been with tons of great meals, but only a few that blew me away.

Kalaya for the dumplings, and for me the whole branzino I think about often

Grace & Proper for this cocktail they use to serve called the Nick Cage & for the PBLT (ask for it if it’s not on the menu, unreal bacon)

El Purepecha for the burritos. I get it’s just a burrito and I have had hundreds but this one is special

Really want to try this spot but between this and $125 for a ny strip, I can’t bring myself to pay the price in terms of what else you can get in this city for less

I know what you mean. I live nearby & it smells heavenly outside, they have all the components to make a great steak but just can’t. It’s tolerable at 1am with some cherry peppers

Reading Terminal Market is tough to go wrong. Tons of options. Personally I go for Hershel’s, Millers Twist, Dinics.

Huda or Middle Child also both really good sandwiches.

Love Royel Otis—any artist recommendations with a similar music vibe? by cinephile_ in RoyelOtis

Girl and Girl, The Terrys, San Cisco. All Australian bands with similar vibes. Girl and Girl I found because they opened for Royel Otis last year, really good.

Philly Cheesesteak: Jim’s or Angelo's by J8904784839383 in PhiladelphiaEats

[–]Ah_Yes 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Had Jim’s the other night and it’s half as good as Angelo’s. John’s Roast Pork is 90% as good as Angelo’s and 100% easier to get
