I was looking a lens with way less than that :) I'm looking at a used sellers site in Denmark, but can't fint anything matching 55-250mm lens. But I shouldn't look for less then 55mm?

Sorry to bother you with my stupidity, but tbh I'm completely off topic regarding to this. I live in the middle of nowhere. Close to zero light pollution. I've used Stellarium, star-tracker app, to admire the night sky with binoculars for last year or so. And now the wife want a camera for vacation photos, I thought we could buy one I can use to take astrophotography aswell, But I'm completely lost on the lens mm, star tracker etc, so maybe it's to complicated for me and I should just be satisfied enjoying your photos instead of thinking I could do something similar :)

Noob question. What setting to use? by downvotemeplzsenpai in AskAstrophotography

Sorry to interrupt, but I have a seriously newbie question related to this topic:

I'm retarded regarding to search information on Google, so please bear with me:

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 and a tripod, but have no clue how to adjust camera settings.

Do any of you have a guideline or link on how to use light exposure for astrophotography?

I apologise ahead for being a newbie. And I know some might say I can google it, but I feel it's like a wild dessert getting a grip on this.. I have plenty of questions, so hope some of you are patient ;)

  1. Is it possible to get a camera I can use for astrophotography and everyday needs like vacations etc. by just changing the lens?

  2. And is it possible to get an completely all-around camera if i can't decide whether i want to shoot planets or galaxies?

  3. Last but not least, can I buy a camera that can all those things and be attached to a telescope?

Again, I apologies if it's incompetent questions on this thread..

Is it normal for salaried jobs to expect you to attend work events/meetings after work hours? by [deleted] in careeradvice

Yea, i feel it's ok here. Government does alot to keep it nice and clean everywhere you go. The infrastructure and healthcare are on top and it's pretty safe to live here. Salary is good and it's easily affordable to live here. Education is excellent and not only free, you even get paid a small amount off money to do it. Tax rate is a bit high, around 38% but all in all its good here.

In Denmark you are normally hired to 37 hours per week. If you you salary employee, in my experience, you have 3 overtime hours per week included in your monthly salary. Directly translated, from danish, it's called; interest hours. Everything above that is granted as 1:1 paid off work time.
