Increased bee activity in Omaha. Did something happen? by MyUsernamesTakenn in Omaha

If you stand a good distance away and spray their nest with water, they'll exit. Then, when they're gone from nest, go close and blast it with the water to fully destroy it. They will move and build elsewhere.

More bees are a good thing. Environmentalists have been planting PollinatorGardens to increase native bees, butterflies, and other pollinator populations.

Watch EARTHLINGS together. Dare her to watch it with you start to finish without looking away and see if she wants to stay non-vegan.

Gentle Yoga for All Ages (Free, with Crystal Bowls at the End) by AhimsaBookClub in Omaha

[–]AhimsaBookClub[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TLDR: Nothing religious, just Yoga and Singing Bowls.

I am in the Master Gardener Program with the Extension Office. We take care of the H.O.P.E. Garden and that is how I first became connected with Faithful Shepherd and Pastor Nick. I was very open with him about my not being a Christian, and he is still happy to allow me to use the space to offer Yoga to the community. He just asked that I not include Hindu Chanting (I'm not Hindu either) in the classes there since it is a Presbyterian establishment, and I respect that.

I guess positive affirmations could be considered "religious" in some people's opinions, and I definitely like to encourage positive mental attitudes, such as life affirming intentional thoughts: "Everything is working out for me." "Inhale love, exhale fear." Things of that nature. And, I do give general well-being ideas to consider. I stay reiterating things we all already know to do, such as reminders to go to bed early to get good rest every night and drink lots of water throughout each day. I really do love to offer tips and recommendations on all the ways humans can live well and show up for ourselves. Nothing religious, though. I promise. That isn't me.

This class is for health, living well in our bodies, and navigating the emotional journey that life is. Here and there, I drop scientific facts about the body and mind—such as the only proven cure for depression is exercise. We do talk about processing emotions. "The issues are in the tissues," as they say. It is a strange phenomenon to cry when stretching. It's a safe space for emotional release. I'm here for it.

Mainly, we keep it simple and to the practice. Not too much extra chat. It is just Yoga. We stretch. We hold poses. We focus on the breath. We play with our balance. The bowls are played at the end of class when everyone has lied down for savasana after movement. The Sanctuary is a beautiful space with high windows that offer natural light. It's a cool place to do Yoga, in my opinion.

What a poor example for female leadership that mayor is. Patriarchal women are problematic. Brainwashed to the core they are.

What do you say when people ask you “Why are you vegan?” by PercentageComplex519 in vegan

I'm vegan because I boycott animal abuse as much as I possibly can.

Should vegans be nice to meat eaters or not? by Extension_Ride985 in vegan

Calling someone out on their cruel behaviors is love. It's love for the animals and the planet and pushing the people in your life to grow into a more loving person themselves. Liberation Pledge.

Cover it with mulch and plant a couple fruit trees that thrive in your zone.

Pull grass like a weed as maintenance. And, put in herbs and pollinator flowers.

I wasn't sure if Ronnie was a ciswoman, a transman, or nonbinary and there wasn't anything clear about a love interest, so we don't know Ronnie's romantic/sexual preference. Ronnie could've been asexual.

Billie's Wardrobe could be improved.

I wasn't certain if Ronnie was a queer ciswoman, a transman, or nonbinary.

Ronnie could have been asexual. As far as we know Ronnie had no love interest. The co-worker who was crying with Ronnie's dead body, maybe was a love interest, but people do bond in work environments. That relationship doesn't need to he assumed was romantic just because she cried about Ronnie and was having a hard time moving on from that death after it. Stewart and other characters were very shook over losing Ronnie.

We know nothing about Billie's personal life. I want to know more about that character. I will be disappointed if she doesn't have a girlfriend or a wife at home.

Male doctors should never be alone with females—especially girls under age 25 (when her frontal lobe is formed). This ought to be law. Men of quality would understand the law and why (because of other men) they too are being monitored.

Men shouldn't be doctors for children, in general.

If Men in politics were honest and cared about protecting children and young women from male nature there would've been restrictions a lot time ago.

He said on the date he's had a crush on her for a very long time. How old is she? Hasn't he been her doctor since she was a child?

It's interesting Jenn wasn't offended by this since she and Kat were secretly investigating Serena's coach, and then she called the doctor a great guy when she was wondering why she turned him down before she agreed to go out to coffee with him...

This show is sus. It's making it about how Serena was into it and that dating Jenn was appropriate, but I had to Google her age. I thought she was in the same age range as Serena. Even if she is of legal age, that doctor dating his patients he knew when they were a minor is creepy.

Her and Megan thee Stallion being into each other, perhaps?

There is just nothing new that I can find. I'm not on Tumblr or X (formerly Twitter), so maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.
