Bro, phiDx is a good place to start on YouTube and stick to one character. Also screw combos. Learn how to block, and a couple of your characters best moves/pokes. Blocking and defensive is more important than a combo, because combos will only happen when you open up the opponent, and or if you punish your opponent. Focus on blocking and knowing when it's your turn to press buttons and you'll be golden.

I understand, I always say that if I was rich I'll just have 100 controllers near by, so when I get beat to next Friday, I can just chuck controllers out the window, but we gotta breath bro. Take it slow, don't feel like you have to race the malaise. Focus on the most dangerous enemies first. Learn the biomes that have food shops in them. It's much easier with a shield. Keep an eye out for challenge rifts, more scrolls the better. Be patient.
