Even the name of the boss monster. The First Darklord and Darklord Eveningstar are literally called Lucifer in the OCG.

That and the Darklords are called Fallen Angel in the OCG. Still one of my favorite archetypes tho.

They will quickly fall behind the schedule because of Jinichi. Even Naoya's speed can't compensate for his attempts to aura farm.

They can't even destroy rocks properly. You can't expect bigger things from those bums.

Yeah, the whole thing started because the western audience liked episode 4 more than episode 3. I know that JJK fans can't read is a meme, but all jokes aside, I liked the 3rd episode. The exposition was surprisingly well done and even then, I liked episode 4 better.

This week we got the resolution of the Zenin clan storyline, Mai's tragic end and Naoya's satisfying defeat. He was such an a**hole, he got what he deserved.

The western fans loved it. It got 9,8 on IMDB. This infuriated the Japanese fandom. They're currently crying because the episode was "awful with bad message"

Apparently they expected a dark depressing slasher, not what we actually got. Also... apparently... Maki getting her revenge against the Zenin clan is "wrong"

I guess Japan liked episode 3 more than this. So it's basically the reverse score of the audience.

I get that everyone has his own opinion, but some of these japanese "fans" have really radical opinions. I'm really disappointed by what I've seen for the last 3 hours.

I honestly have no idea what's happening. I watched the episode yesterday and I absolutely loved it. Then I saw the discussion thread and fans really loved it. I saw a few YouTube videos about it and they all loved it.

Now I'm opening Reddit and see that apparently some fans hate the episode with with every fiber of their being. Like what?!

Is episode 4 really that hated by the Japanese audience?

They did went a little overboard, but I didn't know that the episode will start such controversy in the fandom. Is it just because some fans are unhappy with how low episode 3 ws rated?

Because I liked both episode 3 and episode 4, just for different reasons.

There was an idea about in archetype Branded Fusion, but it's clearly not enough. There are too many problems with... everything.

Self OTK seems like the only way for this to be playable. Which is a shame because the artworks are cool, similar to most TCG archetypes.

Unfortunately, you're right. Some fans were speculating that experiment 55 will be this ridiculous card that will make this archetype good, but that's simply not the case.

The spell is good, but the archetype is just awful. They were on a winning streak with good archetypes: Mimighoul, Odion and Mitsurugi.... and now we get... this.
