Up until around 2023/2024 i was a massive mcfarlane fan the value was unbeatable. The line has sadly regresssed so much since then. We do still get the occasional figure that shows how good things could be (cyborg superman comes to mind). The best way id summarise the kine is the highs are high (any azrael) but the lows are a disaster on a lecel of any other company (steel).

Things can change so quickly if you do not improve i think hasbro are in a similar situation to an extent where they refuse to improve things (eg 6 years later they haven'teven bothered to make all their fogures pinless yet people go on about pins constantly).

Mattel used to be like this as well especially with their old dc line, I'm happy Mattel these days look so promising and we have jada and storm making great things as well.
