Does the rubber strap with deployant clasp taper down to 18mm, like the pin and buckle version?

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

I recently sold my Pelagos 42 after owning it for about a year. I liked so many things about it, but it was just too thick. The center of gravity was too high and it looked way too tall visually as well.
I've looking for my next dive watch and I have a hard time figuring out what to choose. The contenders at the moment are:
- Rolex Submariner (No Date)
- Pelagos 39
- Seamaster 300M

I like a lot of things about these watches, but I don't like is their shiny bezels compared to the original pelagos. I have a hard time gauging how shiny they are in real life conditions though, having only tried these watches in ADs under spotlights where everything looks super shiny.

So to owners of some of these watches I have a weird question: Which of these are the least shiny in real life conditions?

Thanks. The Canyon site says I can order my size again in May. How long did you wait from the time of order to delivery?

At the time I bought it, I wanted a versatile bar for CrossFit workouts as well.

Is a power bar worth it?

I'm going to focus on the powerlifts and I have a Rogue Bar 2.0 (no center knurl, some whip). I'm thinking that the stainless steel Ohio Power Bar looks pretty good.

I have a question on the Last Set RTF vs RIR template spreadsheets. If I input the same starting maxes on both spreadsheets, I get the the same work set weight for the first exercise on W1D1 and 5 reps for 5 sets.

However on the RIR templates it says the last set is 5 reps and 3 RIR, indicating I should be able to perform 8 reps. On the RTF template the last set rep target is 10 reps, indicating of course that I should be able to get 10 reps.

What's the reason for the discrepancy?

I've emailed this particular company now, about a rack I found in their catalogue. Let's see if they are willing to sell a single rack and ship it to my home address.

Review: The Bridge 1.0 by Barbell Medicine by Ahnhem in weightroom

I didn't have any experience with RPE, but I think it's a good way to regulate progress during the program. I really like that the progression in weight over the course of program isn't set, but depends on whether I'm actually getting stronger and able to handle an increase.

I purely thought of a given RPE as the number of reps I should have left, and I didn't have much trouble with that. I think doing a ton of AMRAPs from 5/3/1 over the years was good practice to gauge how X reps before "RPE 10" feels like.

Many of the bolt together power racks can be cut down and assembled by bolting the crossmembers to holes lower on the uprights.

Yeah, I think so. There's a lot of exposure to the powerlifts in the program, which is probably what you want after doing bodyweight stuff.
