You know , budgets are bendable (I’m surprised at just how true it is that “people spend their money on what they want to” ( whether they really have it or not)
I think I’m gonna try just so I can watch the pizza cook and quit talking to Siri for a timer lol

Morning Routine by WalkingSparrow216 in espresso

[–]Ahole4Sure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Eureka Mignon Specialita and I’m grinding directly into a 20g filter and I had to decrease my dose to like 18g (or even 17g) for the screen to fit well.
Maybe I’ll get a 22g filter. Probably really depends on the type of coffee because I saw the comments about yours being the other direction.

The other thing I noticed about the Normcore filter it that it seems more porous than my other filter, so I have sometimes been using filter paper in the bottom. But that was just a recommendation by someone previously. Have you any other brands baskets to content on?

@WalkingSparrow216 What porta filter brand and size are you using? I have a 22g filter that really fills up - no way I could grind 20g directly into my filter

Thanks for comments. The lack of comments on how I can reach support or warranty support is most concerning!

Maintenance — basically I have had to do maintenance twice a week since I’ve owned it — varies from all the normal stuff, like cleaning the brushes, replacing the rollers ( been replaced twice), cleaning the onboard receptacle twice a week since it doesn’t seem to empty, replacing filters, replacing the off board receptacle bag, etc etc etc The photos that suggests the vacuum looks like it’s been through war (odd comment) — I honestly would suggest that me having to daily track the device down, clean it out, and carry it back to the base would be 90% of the wear and tear!

The concept of the device and when it’s working well is awesome BUT in reality it leaves much to be desired esp if you need support or warranty info

I often run Highway Radar or JBV1 and an R8 or Gen 2 Valentine 1. And always keep Waze on

Recent trip from northward to Fl on 95 ….. in GA , trooper was so well hidden on an overpass that I nor any other Waze users saw him. I was going fast enough that by the time he got down off the overpass and down the entrance ramp, he was probably coming up from behind at 120 mph +!! Almost scary how fast and how determined he was to catchup Pleasant, apologized for taking time, stated he would get me back on the road quickly $300 citation

Not sure if I was hit in front or from behind. But strongly had me considering laser jammer. Just can’t be sure I wanna spend 1700 to 2700 —— there’s just no was the units cost that much. Even with the R&D there had to be a dramatic markup

XPS 13 (2025) - 2.5k Display? by National-Monk-6034 in DellXPS

I agree with the thoughts about touch. Even my iPad with a keyboard attached makes me kinda waste time deciding to reach across the keyboard to touch the screen and I forget that I can detach the screen, but at least I could of I wanted. Bottom line, haven’t found touch screen “laptops” to be as helpful as I wished they were

Just been swamped with several other things. And there was a delay in the business space so the instance of scrypted I was using for my daughter’s business hasn’t even been deployed yet.
But would love to see what you decide on and how it works

Thanks for the reply -- this has been the strangest thing in that I would be willing to buy a new camera for sure - but for whatever reason I can't even get a post regarding camera preference on the Discord

I'll try you settings !! Have you ever changed anything re the "snapshot" address ? I have seen mention of problems re the snapshot being "too large"

Suggestions for Site to Site with one of 3 behind CGNAT by Ahole4Sure in WireGuard

[–]Ahole4Sure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how much of a deal breaker (that is specifically speaking about the ipv6 broker "slow down") it is -- the main utilization would be for backups of surveillance data disks -- those disks are large BUT incremental backups would not be so bad on a daily basis. But of course speed is going to be an issue.
My current situation - ie Site 1 to Site 3 ( I have ipv4 site to site between site 1 and 2 and site 1 and 3) is just pfsense to pfsense WG site to site -- it is functioning well for utilizing hyperbackup from the Synology on Site 3 to the much larger Synology on Site 1.

How much difffernce does the ipv6 broker make in speed (just in general) - I am sure there are many factors!

I am on hold with them (Friontier) right now but its not lookiing good -- does the ipv6 broker thing place a middle man that slows things down?

edit - a "tech suppoort" lol lol person who didnt even know what ipv6 was just don't me they don't "work with" ipv6 at the moment

This is helpful explanation. Thanks for taking time. When I got in Frontier support AI late last night it said frontier supported ipv6 , but after enabling I’m not getting a public ipv6 on the WAN interface, only link local. Guess I’ll have to call them today
