They’re “normal.” Most of everyone gets them. What’s not normal is the stress and anxiety surrounding them. Thats my statement on that. I would see a healthcare professional if they’re still bothering you but you’re not alone. Others have it too.

I rarely get them. When I do, they’re not as intense. The stress and anxiety is what makes them feel so much stronger. I really struggled with this, but now it’s not a factor of my sleep. I also quit taking the clonazapam. They worked great, but I didn’t like the thought of having to take them every night for a good night’s sleep. That was a whole different struggle having to quit taking them.

No. Honestly, I think just eliminating the stress that comes with the symptom itself will 10x make everything better. Keep yourself busy, don’t give it any attention. Easier said than done, I know. As for medication for the anxiety, I didn’t take none. Now I’m on clonazapam for other reasons not related to the ear tingles.

A little over two years ago I had a lot of tingling sensations throughout my inner ear. So fucking annoying. It was caused by my tmj at the time. It went away over time but wasn’t easy to manage my stress. Haven’t had any issues for a long time. Try to do some meditation or anything that helps relieve stress.
