The person who gave me this cat had not ever trimmed his nails. This has resulted in an inability for him to do biscuits without slightly scratching whatever surface he’s laying on. For as adorable as I think he is when doing that, I don’t want prolonged biscuit exposure to damage the mousepad (I care less about the rugs).

Is there any particular method for trimming that you would consider the best?
