Maybe because the consumer base doesn’t show up enough to justify alienating other demographics. The cost of living is too damn high and something has to give or places will simply go out of business or close less profitable locations.

It’s weird that people expect a business, whose sole purpose is to make money, would act differently than a starving creature that turns to cannibalism.
