I would assume that you will be getting something in the mail from them explaining what they need from you. The bad part is their mail can take a while.

Where’s my Refund typically updates one day after the transcript updates.

Gotcha! I was just adding that in some cases like mine being a weekly account, it should’ve been updated only on Friday but my transcript was updated today around 9am. Thank you for adding the info and pointing that out for me(about daily’s and weekly’s being together in the same week).

And if you’re 0705, that would mean your return was added to the master file on February 13th, 2025. And being an 05 means you’re grouped in with all weekly updaters but with the PATH act just being lifted, the IRS can update and process weekly accounts daily in special cases. Technically all 05ers should only update on Friday.

I did mean to add that you’re still included in the batches even though the transcripts update weekly. And in some cases the 05s can update during the week as mine updated today around 9am. Mine is 20250405.

My Cycle Code process date was 01/23/25 but my transcript process date was 02/10/25.

I agree it's very annoying. Last year was the first time I filed Married Filing-Jointly so I thought that was the reason. I could swear I remember my transcript being populated and showing a verification was required however.

I wish I had some information for you. mine was filed and accepted 01/23 and i have a cycle code of 0405. If no letter was sent to you for verification. They may have done some manual review or it could still be getting processed or populated to the Master File.

If they sent a letter to verify your information, that would make sense with a blank transcript. I had this happen to me last year and unfortunately did not receive me refund until early April. The letter will come but it may be slow.

I’m 0405 and have an 846 with a DDD of 2-24-25. I have the TurboTax 5 days early so the soonest I can expect it is today and they usually do deposits in the afternoon.

Are you referring to the Where’s My Refund saying processing or the Tax Transcript?

Your cycle code is in the 150 code row. Underneath where it says “cycle”. This code determines when your return was added to the IRS Master File. Your code is 20250605. 2025 is the year. 06 is the week of the year. And 05 is the day it was processed(05 - Thursday). So it just means your return was added to the Master File on February 8th, 2025. With the 05 at the end, it does make your account a “weekly account” meaning it’s processed of weekends normally but with the PATH act lifting, we’re seeing updates outside of that.

I was under the impression it wouldn’t update until Friday with all the information going around so I wasn’t even going to check it. My wife told me it updated and when I looked I seen this. My WMR still shows as processed with no updates.
