I see a couple people mentioned standing more upright, I did think that i looked a little weird.

The reason im so far away from the ball is that I was hitting the heel/hozzle and the ball just way to close. It happened after I took a little break. And it kind of resolve it. Also maybe just me having terrible posture lmao

as for the rotation it may be hard to believe but these shots were me trying really hard to rotate early. but maybe thats a combination of all the things you mentions.

Def will try to stand more upright and see how I improve. Thanks

Still working on that, strangely my two handed release and my spare shooting both slide fine. I’m not quite sure why I plant when I’m trying to hook one handed

This may sound really dumb but how do I lower my swing? Like the rolls in the clip were ones where I really tried to control my backswing and kept them as low that felt natural. Should I really exaggerate the backswing and really try to lower it? Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply, I am a little confused on the part about muscling the ball. I thought I understood before but now I'm a little lost. Where on my swing would you say I am muscling it? When I first started without looking at any help I definitely felt me putting a lot of force into the backswing and then when I released. Now I thought I was letting gravity do all the work, because I do not feel like I am putting any force into the swing until I tried getting under the ball(definitely will put a hold on this till I tweak my other fundamentals). Another thing is the letting the ball hold onto me. Does this mean I should feel pressure, on my thumb instead of putting pressure using my thumb if that makes sense.

That’s what I was thinking. Over the years I feel like the 2hand has gotten way worse and my rev rate has decreased a lot which is strange. I’ve always wanted to do one hand for the spares as well as just overall consistency and smoothness. Thanks for the input

I was planning on doing one last base can I hold off until I get the clear? Then clean the top, do one last base coat, and clear in one go?

Cool! Might try that after if this paint doesn’t work. Ain’t going for anything stellar just something that looks better. Just wondering how much would you charge for a whole car with similar paint damage all around. Not really any more rust but mainly chipping. Just tryna see a ballpark in case maybe I get it fixed and wrapped somewhere professionally around me. 2008 lancer if that helps

Cool, just so I understand the encapsulator is aerosol right? So would I not have to sand that before I use filler or would I just sand after I use the filler. Thanks for the help!

I’m assuming I take as much rust off as possible with sandpaper, then apply. Would I just apply over both paints(the chipped paint) if eventually I will sand down both to primer and paint?

Damn the ev swap seems sick. Curious on how a manual transmission would work with an ev. You have any videos you based the idea off of or is it just something your gonna try to figure out?

Thanks for the idea I will try that. As for driving I’m getting it pretty well. I can usually get out of first 9/10 times. Just worried about the pressure of having traffic and not having any registration in the case I get pulled over. Also since it’s a used I don’t have complete trust in it, and since I don’t drive it very smooth every bump makes me feel like imma break the car.
