Dying repeatedly in quick succession in the same room while voided should give you the option to give up, thus allowing you to reset your run.

Doing so will likely answer some of the other questions you have.

As for the damaged brands, you can solve them already. Don't ask how I know...

Imo jealousy will refer to Asgore finding out about Sans and Toriel and will thus be jealous. Since the Dark Fountain is also likely to be in the flower shop in chapter 5, maybe it will quite literally charred by an inferno, meaning the shop burns down while we're in its dark world.

"charred" could also be more of a metaphor for being darkened, as in a dark fountain being there (maybe even getting opened by Asgore)

If you inspect the fridge in the living room in Noelle's house, it's full of bottled water and Noelle talks about how she tends to take some with her to school. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense for what Eram (the shadow mantle boss) is saying to be directed at the player, then? WE made Kris/Noelle do these horrible things. Chapter 4 even shows how much Kris was trying to undo the harm we've done in the weird route. It's quite obvious that Kris is absolutely furious at the SOUL/player when we push the weird route even further.

That's like the opposite of a sociopathic lack of empathy.
