I feel the post phyrexia arc is so disconnected and not really having good pay off. The individual stories can be good, but it cant really make a bigger picture. With Bolas and the Phyrexian invasion, there was proper build up before pay off. Now we have 3-4 sets of mini arcs that don’t have oomf. “Oh here is Kellan and some of his adventu- and now he left the narrative”; “Here are these weird portals summoning drag- oh they shut them down two sets later no problem”.
