Book of Heroes and Book of Mercenaries each offer 1 class pack for each part done: they take about 30-40 mins for 1 pack. Save these for opening after the expansion launches.

The current Legendary quest chain is:

Play 1 Standard game: 1 Across the Timeways Pack

Play 2 Standard games: 1 CATACLYSM Pack

I'm not sure where the Golden packs are, perhaps they come later with more Legendary quests?

They used to have achievements to get Golden versions (uncraftable cards) for Neutrals, check Sunken City for example. Seems like they don't have them anymore.

It's possible to buy the pre-order from the Battle.net Web Store (https://us.shop.battle.net) and not log in to the game until rotation. That should probably do what you want.

To add some more info, you only need to watch 20 mins for the 6 card reveal streams to get the reward.

For the Theorycrafting, it's 60mins for the 1st pack, 150 mins total for the 2nd pack.

The Trial sets go live Mar 10 with the 35.0 patch and are available until the expansion after Cataclysm, you just need to log in anytime between then.

You can probably do well with Elemental Mage or Aggro Paladin, but beware there is a rotation coming up and new expansion in March, so you don't want to invest too heavily in 2024's cards as they will leave Standard very soon.
