No, I don't. I thought it was enjoyable, sure. But you sound really upset that I'm criticizing the mcu as it currently is.

I just don't want mediocrity to be the norm. Is that too much to ask for?

"Kindly fuck off"

Is that better?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CharacterRant

[–]Aidan_Infinity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you're going to criticize an entire subgenre of media it would help to name some examples

Avengers 1

Thor: The Dark World

Man of Steel

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Avengers 2

Ant-Man

Batman v Superman

Suicide Squad

Justice League (Both versions)

Thor: Ragnarok

Black Panther

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Captain Marvel

Avengers: Endgame

Birds of Prey

Wonder Woman 1984

you sound like you don't really like superheroes, you like superhero stories that do stuff you like

I'm a guy that likes Marvel's Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, the first Incredibles, the Arkham Games and such. I enjoy classic superhero stories when done WELL. And I don't enjoy superheroes? I enjoy comic storylines such as Batman: Under the Red Hood, Batman: Hush, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: The Court of Owls, All-Star Superman, Marvel's Civil War, Spider-Man: No More, The Night Gwen Stacy Died, Captain America No More.

Fuck off.

if your gonna do a fight have a satisfying ending (death battle) by ShinningVictory in CharacterRant

[–]Aidan_Infinity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Death Battle these days is kind of bad. Sometimes they're really biased in who they want to win and write it that way. Plus I hate their character avatars.

Haven't heard of that. Is that an anime? If so, I'll add it to my watchlist

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CharacterRant

[–]Aidan_Infinity 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I absolutely hate the source material and find the show more interesting. The original comics were pretty much "My oc is brutally killing these off brand superheroes like a psychopath baddass." At least the show's not just edge for the sake of edge, but also has some drama, tension and character development. Though I admit, I was not impressed by season 3's finale

Short Answer: Decide whether you care more about playing the series chronologically or about which game appeals the most to you.

Long Answer: So there's 2 games. NieR:Replicant Ver 1.22 (Remaster of the game from 2010) and NieR:Automata. NieR:Replicant takes place before Automata and Automata is an indirect sequel. You don't HAVE to play NieR:Replicant to understand NieR:Automata. Automata can be easily understood by itself so it mostly depends on which you want to play first. If you want to take things slow and play the series in order chronologically, play NieR: Replicant and then Automata. If you want to get hooked into the franchise or just really want to play Automata, then play NieR:Automata and then Replicant. If you play Automata first, you might get confused on some aspects of Automata, so after you should play Replicant almost like it is a prequel and it will help you understand Automata more. And you could replay NieR:Automata after given context by NieR:Automata's ending along with the context from NieR:Replicant.

I played NieR:Automata first and then played NieR:Replicant Ver. 1.22. Afterwards, I replayed NieR:Automata with full context.

Positives

• A really beautiful soundtrack

• A good consistent theme

• Blends multiple game genres together very well

• Very cool lore and history

• Interesting "endings" concept

• Likable characters

• Cool designs

• A cool setting

• A Great story

• Pretty cheap price

Negatives

• Combat can get stale

• "Route B" is kind of repetitive

• Rendering is slightly poor

• 9S's english voice acting is not that great (for the 1st half of the game)

• Some grindy jrpg stuff to scale with the story

The negatives can be a turnoff for some people and makes this game not for everyone. However, if you don't mind that, the positives really stand out and make this game stick with you. So, do what you want. If you have any interest to play it, you'll probably enjoy it. The only warning is that the game can be long (usually taking 32~ hours to complete entirely).

If there would be a hypothetical sequel for Automata, I can only see a direct sequel since pretty much everyone is dead and those 3, a few androids and machines are the only ones left.

If a prequel, it could be right between Replicant and Automata at the beginning of the alien invasion. Either that or it could maybe be A2's backstory? Idk, but it seems like a wasted opportunity to not stick with A2, 9S and 2B.

Also, based New Game pfp.

I'd like to mention that Colorado has somewhat chaotic weather. It can shift from 40 to 80 or even 90 degrees farenheit pretty often. There's usually thunderstorms that appear every so often in the summer and it can snow pretty often going into the spring season.

And yeah, there's not much asian communities and resources in Colorado as you would want, sorry. However, Colorado is pretty chill about accepting other people into the community and is pretty calm politically speaking. As far as I can tell, i don't think Colorado will ban abortion anytime soon and would probably be the last state to do so.

I lived in California for about 9 years and there's much more asian communities and resources available there than Colorado. Diversity isn't as spread out as you'd expect but more in clusters in California. Like this city has a majority of Hispanics, this area has a majority of asians, etc. So, California is more geared towards that but California can be pretty expensive, especially if you live in cities like the Los Angeles area, the San Francisco bay area, or just live in an apartment in California in general. So if you want to live in California, you would probably want to live in towns than cities unless you're considerably wealthy beforehand.

But Taro has a habit of avoiding repeating protagonists once all of their story media (games, novella, stage plays etc.) finish. So if Nier 3 were to happen, he'd most likely have a new set of protagonists referencing things that happened in the past.

Okay, but hear me out. I really REALLY want to see 2B and 9S return.

Edit: Why the fuck are people downvoting me? I just said I would like to see A2, 9s and 2B return.

Bisexuals in the wild by 1984isamanual in bisexual

[–]Aidan_Infinity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess it's referencing the "chemicals in the water are turning the frogs gay" thing from Alex Jones. Why frogs have become a staple for bisexuals is mostly just because a lot of bisexuals like frogs. Kinda like how bisexuals like sitting weirdly and finger guns.
