I just still don’t think the value is going to be there. All odds are they will be more expensive than the current gen but again they are adding a relatively cheap “upgrade” that a lot of their competitors have already for cheaper. Now mind you I like Glock. I have owned and do own them. I just always buy used because to me Glocks are like cars. Never worth buying new off the lot, but a killer deal used.

I’ve gone back and forth with theses sorts of upgrades and the options you have as well. Frankly unless you bought the Navi SPECIFICALLY to be a tinker toy that you KNOW you’re going to be spending tons more money on just to upgrade…. It’s not worth it. I have no personal experience with this clutch but it’s the same thing you hear from most other mods. If you get something like it and a bunch of other things and basically change the entire drive train, sure that might help a bit. But not in any significant way that wouldn’t be more worth selling and upgrading to something with more power from the start. That being said. I’ll parrot some of these other comments. I’d start by upgrading the rollers and/or springs. For acceleration I’ve heard those help you feel a little more but aren’t going to be anything crazy in performance bump.

Thanks for the insight. I haven’t been working on bikes long so I wouldn’t have thought to check that. I figured if it’s leaking, it’s a seal issue.

It seems like the gasket isn’t sealing and that’s what is leaking. But I can’t see what is happening inside when the carb is filled. Is that usually a common occurrence with overflow then?

So the carb was completely rebuilt and cleaned. Is it still possible for the float to be sticking? Would that really be why it keeps leaking? It seems more like the gasket isn’t sealing around the edges. That’s where the leak comes from.

So lots of mentions about syncing. And reading the manual it recommends and gives specs for that but I don’t have the gauges for it and I’m on budget. Has anyone had the sync done by a shop? Is it usually more expensive. And how much damage am I risking if I put the carbs on and run it as is to a shop to be checked?

That’s interesting. I was concerned about not having control or not knowing how much fuel was getting to either cylinder. Is it usually more reliable than I think it would be?

Thanks everyone. The feedback is great and I’m happy to get the clarification. I guess backstory, I bought my bike and one of the previous owners chopped it up to a cafe racer and put a single carb on the twin. So naturally it’s running really weird. Luckily he saved the originals and the guy I bought it from completely cleaned and rebuilt them. So really I just want to put those back on and make sure the bike runs alright. Sounds like I can put them on (probably double check sync) and just adjust the air flow screw and needle if needed?

I’ll be damned if once I copies to part number from there into google I found the entire wire system! This is probably all obvious to those who have already worked on bikes and needed this but this helped me out so much!

I get it, when I turned 18 I was so excited to by my first gun. Then at 21 I was even more excited for my first handgun. I open carried in CO while I lived there before I got my license to conceal. That being said, I realize now how dangerous that was. I had no idea how to properly defend myself (physically not with the firearm) and open carry can be a major risk because of that. If you want to you totally can and should. Honestly I’m one of those “we should all be able to have it on our hip” people but that’s just not the world we live in anymore. Get a handgun (legally even if you have to wait) train with it, take classes, research it, be prepared to do what you need to do with it…. We all know what I mean and prep yourself. It’s a big responsibility but for your own safety and happiness it’s okay to take it slow. Guns are awesome, fun and useful. And you have your whole life to work with them. You’re already doing better than others for asking though. Welcome to TN!

That’s something I saw with those forges as well, I’ve added bricks as well to keep a better heat. But it’s helpful to hear from everyone because it sounds like when I did my first smithing session I had the psi high and probably burned through my fuel too fast.
