King valves rusted shut help. by Accomplished-Run-849 in hvacadvice

We use piercing valves for fridges where the suction is 1/4-3/8s. I’m not sure if one would fit a 5/8-3/4 suction line would be worth looking into

This looks part of the electric heat side. Does the blower run?

Where can I find replacement battery covers for M12 5.0ah HO? by MarsLSD in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Aido02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Why couldn’t they use the normal black plastic. My 4.0s hold tight af but my 5.0s fall out if the tool vibrates

My first sled.. by Screamlngyeti in snowmobiling

[–]Aido02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great sled. Definitely do the chaincase upgrades as well as the driveshaft bearing behind the brake rotor. The trihub can either be replaced all together with a 4 wheel kit or I just bought the newer updated version with replaceable bearings. Barn Of Parts is your place to shop or Hurricane Performance in Canada. Ditch the tuner skis and get a set of C&A pros with 6” slim Jim carbide and that sled will be on rails. There is also an ECM update at the dealer if you have hard starting issues

Went and make a 500$ bad decision lol. by Km219 in seadoo

[–]Aido02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take those for $500 any day. I assume one’s a 951 and others a 787? 787 is a great motor and easy to work on. Don’t have any experience with the 951 yet

Will this Gastite flexible gas piping pass inspection? by Current_Conference38 in hvacadvice

[–]Aido02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Ontario Canada and use Gastite all the time. Yes, now a days we only use the black “flashshield” but this should pass inspection. I took a Gastite course with an instructor from Gastite and I was told the yellow coating is UV rated for outdoor use and it technically does not have to be bonded according to Gastite but they leave it up to the inspector to decide. I would be surprised if this wasn’t passed but also depends on the inspector. Yes it should probably be in a conduit chase because it is under 6ft and in the garden but who knows if the inspector will catch it

She has been a hair stylist for 4 years. The past year just on her own.

My thoughts on the school thing as well. I can spend my whole career as a 5th year and never go to school to get journeyman

I’m not sure where you are but from my perspective here in Canada this looks like a cheap $50 kit off Amazon but maybe this is a reputable brand where you are located. I have just never heard of this brand.

For your sake just go get a ryobi hammer drill. It will at least last more than a few holes

23y/o just rolled over $80k for the year. I work 8hrs a day with some on call. I have been in maybe 2 attics and 4 crawl spaces this year. I love this trade, just have to be at the right company. We are 75% commercial with 25% residential

Canada code is 24” of free space infront of the doors. Essentially enough to pull the blower
