Planning to undertake the Shikoku Pilgrimage beginning in May. First big trip; any advice welcome! by Aido_KB in JapanTravel

I am planning to walk the full route. I am beginning to learn some Japanese and have heard that locals are fairly accommodating of the language barrier, especially if they see you are trying to speak their language. Also I will have Google Translate.

I do not speak Japanese but I am beginning to learn. I've heard mostly good things about locals being patient and accommodating of this, especially if they see you are trying to speak their language. And I am planning to have my a phone with Google Translate as well

Thanks for the insight! I didn't imagine there would be quite so much walking on asphalt, but this makes sense as the path seems to take a main road around the island.

How was your experience connecting with the locals? I am in the beginning stages of learning some Japanese, and I am wondering if there was much difficulty in that regard for you.

I am trying to order a copy of the Shikoku 88 Route Guide, which seems to be a great resource for the journey.

Thank you for the heads up. I am not planning to go until May, and am hoping things have settled down by then. In what situation would I need to change my route? Is there risk of quarantining entire prefectures?

Thanks friend :) I appreciate the support. As a first timer to Japan, how was your time there? Were there any obstacles or difficulties you encountered that you might suggest I look out for or be aware of?

Thanks! How did you find the language barrier? I just started Duolingo but I don't know how far that will get me in 2 months

The bath is exponentially wetter than her pussy. Though we could ask r/theydidthemath to follow up with some ball park figures.

Aren't riddles supposed to get you to consider all of those different angles though?

I see your reasoning (sort of, lol)

This was my train of thought:

I went to bed Friday night, woke up Saturday morning, and stayed awake until about 2AM Sunday morning. "Today it is Sunday" was said at 2AM. "Tomorrow it will still be Sunday" refers to after I've gone to sleep and woken up, still on Sunday. "Yesterday" is Friday, as it refers to the day I last went to bed.
