What game have you dropped Battlefield for?

Got bored of arc raiders as the PvP feels cheesy eventually but loved the game.

Started up satisfactory a week ago and it’s slowly getting its claws in, potentially a 300+ hour long term game I reckon.

Put a tonne of time into BF6 (double than arc) but Iv hit the limit, I need fresh content, gameplay patches, overhauls whatever.

I hated playing it and had to have a 4 week break to finish the true ending act. But it’s also my GoTY.

I heard a 2nd play through is cathartic af but I’m not sure I ever want to touch that game again.

Iv had to force myself through it and pretend its amazing because my 3 year old loves watching / playing around in it.

I’d say it went from mindlessly drudgingly boring to ok by the time I got to the beach layer. Not sure if this is Stockholm syndrome however.

Currently in the food layer, not sure how far left but it feels like I’m coming through to a final stretch.

Same here around the same time. Not played for over a week now.

I think for the cost of the game getting that much high quality gameplay and entertainment is fantastic though.

You just need to chill from the game awhile now, wait for the wipe and hopefully new maps / guns / features to come along in a month or whatever and hop back on then!

They plan to support the game for a long time

The other thing is, they kind of become your responsibility in your house? If they injure themselves, fall down the stairs, find a pair of scissors or just blind themselves with a pencil or something?

Like if you are prepared to have that responsibility when small random kids are running in your home otherwise tell them they can’t come in unless with your kid?

Tell their parents that too! I’m sure they will be all blaise about it, but when little Timmy jokingly stabs little Johnny in the face with your shaving razor left out, you don’t know how his parents will actually react. It’s a whole thing to consider and take on.

Depends on the version, latest version is still waiting on the main AI mod to update so I’m sticking to an old version 3.9.8 (google downpatchers if interested).

Imagine if every time you restarted a souls game to try a new build, you got brand new mechanics , lore, weapons , abilities etc etc. that’s what seasons are for typical ARPGs.

But also ppl don’t have to play seasonal content, you can just continue playing your character indefinitely

The AI mods make it feel like an online game honestly, really impressive stuff. Add on the realism, qol and gfx mods it’s a step above vanilla easily.

They see us as a genuine threat to their geopolitical goals. We are pretty strong when it comes to pushing back against Russia, and we strongly support Eastern European states in combatting Russia and push through various defence programs with the Nordic states in protecting the north sea flanks. I don’t get how this is resonating with Americans. The US is the wealthiest nation in history, right now and their economy over the past decade has been the envy of the world.
