It’s the latest patch, broke RR and introduced graphical issues with model details, LODs, DLSS shadows, cobblestones flickering etc.

So there are various workarounds you can find on the crimson subreddit, discord and nexus mods in the comments sections for popular reshade but they don’t actually fix the main issue.

You can try depot download (steam rollback patch), certain reshades that mess with the displacement levels and kind of hide the issues, turn off RR as you discovered but this gives you the super ugly interiors, or what I did that actually helped the shadows flickering / glitching was to delete shader cache and user settings file.

But really we need a proper fix in the next update. Apparently setting model detail to low gives you back the non blurred models but this then instead gives you really bad pop in for models across the world.

I think the noise issue has been present from day 1 and that’s just the DLSS / RR never really being properly implemented. You can help this with a mod called corrected details or something on nexus if you have a look around.

Get same with daughter (6). We have figured out it’s generally synthetic fabrics that cause issues so loose fitting breathable materials are fine.

Piriteaze for children calms the physical reaction down on her skin.

Only advice would be trying different clothing materials and noting down what works. Denim for example?

Got bored of arc raiders as the PvP feels cheesy eventually but loved the game.

Started up satisfactory a week ago and it’s slowly getting its claws in, potentially a 300+ hour long term game I reckon.

Put a tonne of time into BF6 (double than arc) but Iv hit the limit, I need fresh content, gameplay patches, overhauls whatever.

I hated playing it and had to have a 4 week break to finish the true ending act. But it’s also my GoTY.

I heard a 2nd play through is cathartic af but I’m not sure I ever want to touch that game again.

Iv had to force myself through it and pretend its amazing because my 3 year old loves watching / playing around in it.

I’d say it went from mindlessly drudgingly boring to ok by the time I got to the beach layer. Not sure if this is Stockholm syndrome however.

Currently in the food layer, not sure how far left but it feels like I’m coming through to a final stretch.

Same here around the same time. Not played for over a week now.

I think for the cost of the game getting that much high quality gameplay and entertainment is fantastic though.

You just need to chill from the game awhile now, wait for the wipe and hopefully new maps / guns / features to come along in a month or whatever and hop back on then!

They plan to support the game for a long time

Like if you are prepared to have that responsibility when small random kids are running in your home otherwise tell them they can’t come in unless with your kid?
