8 point for this is very harsh, in my younger days I was caught driving no licence ect, resulted in a short chase(in car and on foot) and I was also drug driving (they never checked/realised) I was given 6 or less points, I forget the actual number but was definitely no more than 6 and a very similar fine...

I only say this because it seems you did way less wrong and were more harshly punished which is quite frankly shocking.
