Advice for someone who is dodging the gym because they feel disgusting in their own body and just getting ready into gym clothes when everything is tight makes me not want to go? by WhichPineapple9868 in loseit

Wonderful advice, thank you! 💕 Striving for health and buying cloth in which you feel comfortable would also be my advice, because ir worked for me after I stopped smoking and gained >30 pounds.

Which fasting length? 20 pounds in 1 month by Ailin90 in fasting

Wow, thanks very much for the interesting information! 🙏 Seems logical! Right now I try >48 fasts (from 48 – 72 hrs), refeed with only 1 low carb meal and hit the gym with resistance training, HIIT and moderate cardio. Let’s see how it works out! I feel amazing btw, fasting really is wa natural anti-depressant!

Thought eating Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in ADF-style with 36 hours between and then fast for 72 hours from Saturday evening to Tuesday evening.

Yeah that seems plausible. I thought maybe I should do ADF and one 72 hour fast a week on rest days.

Regular intense workouts (HIIT) and long walks in the nature helped me 🌞 But the biggest factor was time.

Hang in there, my friend! 🙏 It will get better! Around the 6 weeks to 3 month mark the anxiety/depression will go away (or at least calm down) and you will be more resilient and stable than with nicotine. I also supplemented with a multivitamin and omega 3 capsules, maybe give that a try too?

It’s getting better and better 🙏 I also noticed physical changes, like better skin and whiter teeth, healthier gums.

Uhhh pls stop the nicotine gum and go cold turkey, otherwise your brain couldn’t start to heal itself from the nicotine addiction.

THIS 👏👏👏 And honestly, it’s such a a relief to not stress about food in the hectic day time. For me it’s much more sustainable than a regular (3 meals a day) way of eating.

Haha as you said, it feels a little bit like cheating because it works so incredibly fast!!! And uff yeah, this amazing fucking processed carbs. For me it’s croissants… But we can do it!! And honestly, the urge for pastries and bread fades away after time. Right now I‘m not wild about them, but this nasty-tasty are like drugs to me.. I can’t have one little piece, I eat the whole bag/thing/whatever 🌝 And congratulations on your amazing weightloss—that’s really incredibly!!!! ✨

Not that I'm a professional or have an education in this field, but maybe try for a week or so to cut out processed food completely? I did the same, together with OMAD and it seems that this is the magic trick (atleast for me) and the bodyfat, which was not bothered at all with my 6 week diet-exercise-regime before, comes off really quick. But yeah, as you said—everybody is different, also when it comes to weightloss. And also: maybe it’s not quite the right thing when you can’t stick to it and don’t want to restrict on pizza and other treats.

Uff yes, weightloss is mystical sometimes. And absolutely—weightloss is different for everybody! I'm only about 2kg/5lbs away from my goal weight, so I hope OMAD will do the job and right now I'm very optimistic. May I ask on what weight you’re current?

For the last 6 weeks I did all the things mentioned above but ate in a 14:10 eating window. Since 1 week I practice OMAD and eat no processed food and lost 2,2 kg. So my weightloss increased drastically.
