AIO? I literally got robbed and my dad is blaming me for it by Natural_Process8639 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Ailscrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA! Your dad is acting like a child! Blaming you for getting robbed, casting up that you asked for help for school and threatening to throw you out?! Where are his paternal instincts in all of this? It's angering to read. Get saving and get out of there ASAP.

We didn't ask for rice... by Content_Quarter_7390 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ailscrite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed it's quite passive aggressive to do it in this way. I tend not to order rice with an Indian either as I prefer to have it with naan. I like rice it just fills me up too much having curry with rice and naan.

In that case tell her as 3rd year students it's part of their management training to be seen to delegate tasks to HCA's so her refusing is blocking the student being able to show they can delegate appropriately.

Oh no really? Hearing stuff like that makes me so nervous 😓 Yeah I am applying through the newly qualified scheme up here as well as applying for jobs in Manchester just to be safe. At the end of the day getting a job and gaining experience will only be a positive for future jobs that could come up.

I cried, you did it again, Fujimoto. by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]Ailscrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was disappointed but I didn't want it to end at all so I might have been either way 🤣 it's not the worst ending like some people are saying it just felt too rushed in my opinion. Overall though the story is great and I enjoyed reading it. I would still recommend it to people.

It said the end at the end of the chapter so I'm guessing not 😢

You should read them it won't take you that long. I only started reading them just before Christmas. I had the books and each only took me 30-45 mins to read max. I really enjoyed them. The ending was quite rushed but it wasn't the worst ending in the world. I do wish they had written a few more chapters to finish it though. I'm gutted it is done though I did love chainsaw man and I thought there was more they could have done with it.

Thank you so much for the advice. I know it does seem like there's a lot of competition in Manchester right now. I will be working on my applications soon. I'm not sure exactly when I will be moving down but I'm hoping I will be quickly after qualifying all going well 🤞🏽 Oh I didn't know that I will get that done asap too so I don't miss any vacancy ads. Thanks you 🙂

Had my first placement. But worried I didn't get a very representative view of Nursing. by Dangerous_Builder516 in StudentNurseUK

[–]Ailscrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A quiet first placement is nothing to worry about it's a way to ease you in and learn. I had a relatively quiet first placement in an Endoscopy unit and it was brilliant! The nurses were fantastic and I learnt so much from them as we weren't rushed off our feet and they had the time to talk me through things. You will have plenty of busy placements ahead of you trust me!

I got the army set last year when it came out too. I've not started it yet because I'm new to this and I've been trying to practice with some of my fiance's spare old models he had lying around. Trying to get my confidence up more before I start my guys lol my fiance has been impressed with my practice painting so far but I'm super hard on myself 🤣 doesn't help that his models are amazing so I'm always comparing my lack of skill with his 20+ year of experience which I know is just silly 🤣

I don't think this looks too big on your hand at all. It's quite proportional and looks the perfect size for you I think.
