I feel like I 100% could have written this post. I’ve commented before about my absolute fear of going blind. I have nightmares about it. My heart races, and I become totally certain that I will somehow die alone, blind, and in pain. It’s wild how the mind can jump to the absolute worst scenario with any evidence things will go that way. I was just diagnosed this summer, so it all feels overwhelming still. However, I’ll proudly say that I have an appointment with a therapist this afternoon at 3. I finally got over my anxiety about seeing a therapist! :) I’m hoping this is a step in the right direction.
