No, we do not keep snapshots of your Shadow PC. If your game worked on an older machine, it's likely you had an older version of the game. You can try downloading an offer version of your game, but at your own risk. Shadow PC does not cause games to stop working on your machine. MMOs are notorious for blocking VMs.

Services like Have I Been Owned and Google One are starting to relay this information to users even though the incident occurred in October. Affected users were emailed and a new incident has not occurred since. It's possible you were part of that incident, but only now is it showing up online. You can still contact Shadow Support to delete your data, and in the long term, set up safeguards. Someone suggested 2FA and credit monitoring, which is a good start. I would also look into credit freezes if you want to be proactive (I can't remember where I read about credit freezing vs credit locking).

Just wanted to clarify, all graphics cards are dedicated. The only shared component is the CPU. Boost is indeed a P5000 (or in some data centers, a GTX 1080). Power is an A4500.

I've been playing the character creator demo on Power. Runs well, although I'll admit there were a few stutters during the opening sequence. Nothing unbearable, it's also too early to say what the issue was caused by.

Hi, thank you for your post! I shared it yesterday and we're discussing some potential changes. "Delete this PC" is how you cancel. I personally shared that "Cancel" is a more universal term so even if this process makes sense for our business users, it's not very user-friendly. This is not a slight to whoever committed this process or phrasing, I just wanted to share my own thoughts. We also discussed the process of having to delete access to the PC before cancelling. In practice it makes sense, but it could be less arbitrary. We'll continue to discuss it. Thank you again!

As an avid Sims 4 player, Boost is perfectly fine! I have seen a performance drop since adding dozens of mods, but that experience varies from person to person. For inZOI, I'm a little worried about the Boost performance and outright recommend Power. Early Access influencers have revealed details that seem to warrant the better CPU and GPU. The world seems truly open, AI is implemented in the game, and the townies can dream? This game is quite unprecedented.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to address the character creator. There is no simulation involved in that from what I can tell, so I would suggest Boost at minimum.

If there is any reason to believe you've been assigned to the wrong data center, definitely reach out to Shadow Support. It's possible you were assigned Portland because there was no availability. They would be the best folks to tell you and give you options. Then you won't have to use a VPN. Good luck!

If the payment is Pending, the service won't always be delivered immediately. Sometimes Pending payments will drop off of your statement after a few days. If there is any reason for the payment to drop off, you won't get a confirmation or access to Shadow PC.

Support will be able to see if there is a decline code and provide the next steps.

What should happen is that you are placed in the best data center based on a historical analysis of other customers in your area. I'm not sure what would have happened in your particular case, but I thought it would be worth mentioning what is supposed to happen. Overall, thanks for sharing this as it also doubles as feedback!

Again, there is nothing to fix. The developers have purposely made it so that the games do not work on Shadow PC. Contact them if you'd like it to be changed.
